This newly created bureau coordinates several functions within the Department of Social Services:

1. Departmental strategic planning and monitoring of progress.
2. Quality assurance within the Department.
3. Grants management for the Department.
4. Evaluation and statistics needs of the Department.
5. Lead of the evaluation effort for the "No Wrong Door" reform initiative.

Also, the DSS Audit Services operates under this Bureau.
