Blind Services - provides services to eligible individuals who are blind or visually impaired. The Randolph-Sheppard Business Enterprise Program and the Older Blind/Visually Impaired Program are parts of Blind Services.

Child Care Assistance Provides assistance to parents to help pay for the child care they need to work or attend school or training.

Disability Determination Services Provides benefits to disabled individuals under Title II (Disability Insurance Benefits) and Title XVI (Supplemental Security Income).
- Family Services
Case management and counseling services are provided to families in situations in which an allegation of child neglect and/or abuse has been validated, but the child remains with the family while the services are provided.
- Head Start Collaboration
Designed to increase effective linkage between Head Start Grantees and State agencies and includes the principle of serving the whole family as the key strategy for improving developmental, social and economic conditions for low-income children.
- Homeless Services
Encompasses several services and programs, all designed to help meet the needs of the homeless.
- Kinship Care
Provides cash assistance for eligible children who reside with qualified relatives other than parents.
- Licensing
Licenses and develops licensing regulations for child care and adult care centers.
- LIFTS
A series of initiatives to strengthen families and to ensure children safe, permanent solutions.
- Louisiana Commission for the Deaf - Organized in 1980 to insure that Louisiana's public and private services are accessible to deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing, and speech impaired citizens.
- Support Enforcement Services
Places the primary responsibility for support of children on their non-custodial parent(s) in an attempt to reduce the children's dependence on public assistance.

Traumatic Head and Spinal Cord Injury Trust Fund - Provides services in a flexible, individualized manner to Louisiana citizens who survive traumatic head or traumatic spinal cord injuries. The TH/SCI program enables individuals to return to a reasonable level of functioning and independent living in their communities.

Vocational Rehabilitation Program - Provides a one-stop career development program to individuals with disabilities. |
